The reason why women wear tight jeans is to conceal the baby bump, but doing this isn’t necessary as long as you are already pregnant.

In the previous section of this post, it was stated that women can get away with wearing tight jeans during pregnancy if the tummy is yet to protrude.
What does this tell you? This tells you that there are certain periods when you should stop wearing tight jeans during pregnancy.
The second and third trimesters are the two main periods when a pregnant woman should stay away from tight jeans.
It is because the baby bump is already visible for everyone to see so there is no need to wear tight cloth for the purpose of concealing the pregnancy.
This is the perfect period for you to stick to larger sizes of clothes, and these loosely fitted clothes provide you with comfort and easy movement while pregnant.
Wearing tight jeans means you are depriving your body of the comfort and free movement it deserves.
One thing you really want to avoid during pregnancy is stress, and wearing tight jeans is known to promote pressure on the tummy, which in turn progresses to stress.
Furthermore, tight jeans will also promote vaginal discharge, and this is an ideal breeding ground for yeast infection.
Even if wearing tight jeans has no negative effect on the baby, a woman who indulges in this is placing herself at risk. Finally, tight jeans aren’t recommended once the baby bump starts to show.

What Happens If You Wear Tight Clothes During Early Pregnancy?
Early pregnancy could be anywhere from the first to eight weeks. At this stage, the pregnancy is not yet visible. So many women are more concerned about concealing their pregnancy, so they resort to wearing tight clothes.
The early stage of pregnancy is when a woman is allowed to wear tight clothes because the baby bump is still not visible for all to see.
Wearing tight clothes at this stage doesn’t add pressure, doesn’t restrict blood circulation, or cause any form of stress.
The only time a pregnant woman is not allowed to wear tight clothes is during the second and third trimesters of pregnancy.
The tummy at this point is very visible for everybody to see, and doing this could lead to poor blood circulation and swelling of the lower legs and feet.
Furthermore, wearing tight clothes during the later stages of pregnancy will also interfere with increasing abdominal and chest cavities, and it will also interfere with the loosening of ligaments.
A pregnant woman is going to experience discomfort and abnormal physical changes when she wears tight clothes during the second and third trimesters of pregnancy.

When Should You Stop Wearing Tight Pants During Pregnancy?
So many experts have said that the womb doesn’t reveal itself during the first to eleventh week. At this point, it is okay for a woman to continue rocking her tight pants and other tight clothing.
However, all of this is going to change when she enters her fourteenth to sixteenth week.
The 14-16 week is when the belly is already shooting out and becoming visible for everyone to see. Once a woman enters this period, wearing tight clothes is no longer advisable.
It is when a woman should get comfortable with wearing stretchy skirts, pants, and loose-fitted clothes.
There is yet to be any proof that supports wearing tight pants during pregnancy will hurt the baby, and this is also based on the fact that the stomach is strong enough to protect the baby growing inside of the mother.
Just because there is no proof to back up claims that wearing tight clothes will hurt unborn babies, this doesn’t mean that pregnant women should keep rocking tight clothes even when the stomach is protruding. Doing this comes with some risks of its own like leg swelling and discomfort.
