An increase in height, is something that many people desire, and many people, especially the male folk, usually hope that they get favored in this aspect. So it is no news that there are many theories as to how you can actually increase your overall body height.

It is said by some people, that losing weight would add to your overall body height, which is actually not proven. The main factor to your height increase, lies in your growth scale.

Once you reach adulthood, the chances of getting an increase to your already confirmed height, is actually very slim. Infact out of a hundred, only 15 may notice a recognizable change in height during adulthood.

No it is impossible for this to happen, as both quantities do not relate in anyway. But you may appear taller, due to a change in overall body shape. Every person has his or her original height, and while obesity might leave you susceptible to the effects of gravity, you do not increase some inches when you actually lose weight.

Obesity causes some joint related issues that may actually affect your posture, this may make you unable to stand at your full height, so when you finally lose all that weight, you may appear taller due to a change in overall posture. But the main thing to take note of, is the impossibility of gaining extra height especially after adolescence.

There is actually no relationship between body weight and height as both progress at their own pace. But you should know that the amount of body weight you possess, may actually influence your standing posture, thereby making you appear taller or shorter.

As much as losing weight, is not so important, especially if you are not obese, if you want to do it, the only thing you can do, is to actually burn more calories than you take into your body system.

This is the simplest way to get rid of extra weight as your body uses up every single calorie, thereby not leaving any space for that extra weight. You should do lots of research as you would find out many meals that are vital to this course.

You could also see a dietician that would help you in sorting the best meals for your predicament. Changing your lifestyle, could be very vital in fighting obesity.

No. weight, in itself, does not change your height. It only gives you the illusion of being shorter or taller by affecting your abdominal or limb length. Also, you can lose weight and still grow taller as long as you’re gaining muscle and not fat.

Is it possible for various adults to increase in height?

Unfortunately, once you reach the realm of adulthood, it is virtually impossible to increase in height. This is because your growth stops at this point. So you should rely on increasing your posture to look better. Infact having a good posture would give people the impression that you are taller than you actually are.

It is impossible to increase in height by losing some pounds, but you can lose weight if you put lots of work into attaining a healthy livelihood. This would decrease the chances of getting obese, and spoiling your body posture.

While going through puberty, you should ensure that you eat in a healthy way, and   implement good sleeping habits into your daily activities to ensure a great growth. You should also avoid obesity at your younger age, as it could negatively affect you as you grow into adulthood.

Losing weight and correcting your posture could help in making you appear better, but there is no guarantee that they would give you extra inches to your height. Knowing this, you should have something else in mind when you start losing that extra weight.
