My neighbor let me pick a few leaves of their swiss chard. I then added from my own garden two types of basil, cilantro, parsley and some nasturtium. For dinner I ate a stunning garden salad bouquet.

our local farmers market opened today, happiness is this spring radish bounty

feeling rather “foodie” today
My neighbors picked the flowers from his onion plants
I took a few to see if they were edible
the interweb said certainly indeed
edible and peppery
and so here they are in my salad – centric meal
YUM
and yes, they were peppery tasting!
I also added some portabello slices
had to try and capture it’s beauty too
whenever i see a mushroom and it’s “gills”
i am reminded of my HS sweethearts aversion to mushrooms
he really got grossed out by mushrooms
too funny!
