July 23rd I declared over lunch with my dear friend and author Sheila Glazov that I was going to forage forward and develop my writing career. When it was said outloud I felt squeamish in my stomach. That kindof in my gut, this is scary, but man are you ever on the right track feeling.
Very shortly there after I was hired…excuse me while I treasure that word, HIRED by MC2 Communication Consortium to do promotional writing for RSBrands!! My retainer and signed agreement arrived yesterday.
I’m a writer!!
Yesterday I was also congratulated by Dawn Rafferty Group Editor of The Doings Newspaper. I was chosen to be a year long Contributing Columnist!!
Excuse me … I’m a writer!!

I totally understand what you mean. I’m in the process of a similar transition myself. It’s amazing when you receive your first fee for writing an article. Just wait till you get a publisher approaching you about a book! It will happen I’m sure, you are such a good writer.
