Springtime Vine

Vines have always appealed to me. This one has a mind of it’s own. My landlord clipped it back this spring only to have it bud boldy as shown here. This picture was taken weeks ago. Now the vine is swarming over the top of the fence all lush and leggy. Soon it will fill every space of the fence, and when there is no more fence it will start walking through the yard. Very independent, that vine.

  1. My front yard fence has vines growing wild on it. They are probably just weeds but I like them so I leave them alone and let them grow. It has beautiful white flowers that start to show up and bloom later in the summer. The flowers are open late in the evening through early morning. When the heat of the day is going on, the close up. Nature can give us such beauty if we let it.

  2. sounds like morning glories – wonder if that’s what they are? It sounds delightful! I’d leave them growing too!!
