A virtual kiss and tell booth is awaiting your favorite kissing moment story
The kissing booth is sponsored by my friend, author and marketing expert Patricia Martin.
There are a handful of judges, including yours truly, and the best story tellers will receive a free copy of John Stark’s new book Dictionary of Love.
So, please go here to kiss and tell – we can’t wait to hear your stories!
My first question to Pat when she asked me to judge was well gee as a judge can I tell a story too? She replied of course!! I actually have a few that warm my heart when I think about them, but thought I’d share this one – my very worst kiss ever here:
I was a young adult and working at a tuxedo store, the job was pretty mindless, I mostly ironed a zillion of those cotton ruffly shirts. This guy would wave at me as he got off the train. I would wave back. This went on fro some time. One day he came into the store and we talked. He was very very cute and wonderfully distracting. We had a great banter, he was easy to talk to, we actually had a lot in common, AND he made me laugh. He started visiting daily and each day he’d say – see you tomorrow. I thought he was just adorable. He finally asked me out. The date was an absolute blast and then came that inevitable moment when I knew he would kiss me. I am so laughing as I write this and as I remember this kissing moment. To this day I don’t understand how he thought that his style of kissing would get him anywhere, but instead of puckering up and kissing my lips, he opened his mouth really wide and kissed my entire face. The only way I can explain it was he surrounded my nose my chin and my mouth with his open wide “hello are you in there” mouth and called that a kiss. I tried to coax him to a bit of pucker, but he was utterly determined to give face instead.Needless to say I never went out with him again.
